Your garba night, kept as a page you can share
Nine nights go by and what is left is a camera roll and sore feet. This page puts the night back together: the sticks, the circle, your photos, your crew and the beat, in one link you can send to everyone who was there.
Free. No ads. They need no app and no account to open it.
What is on the page
- Two dandiya sticks. One tap and they clash, the lights come on and your heading appears.
- A garba circle seen from above, the dancers’ skirts spinning as they go round the lamp.
- Up to six of your photos, all the same size.
- The night in numbers: nights danced, hours on your feet, sticks broken.
- The names of the people you danced with.
- A dhol they can tap, nine beats for the nine nights.
- A few words from you, if you want to add them.
For after the garba
Make it the morning after, while your feet still hurt. Add the photos everyone has been asking for, name the crew, and drop the link in the group. It names nobody but you, so the same link works for everyone.
Pick a festive track from the built-in music, or upload the song your group will not stop singing.
Made to be posted
Anyone who opens the page can turn it into a short vertical video, with the sticks, the spinning circle and your photos in it, and the music if you want it. It is the right shape for a status or a reel.
The page itself is deleted 7 days after it opens, so save the video if you want to keep the night.
Numbers worth counting
- How many of the nine nights you made it to.
- How long you danced without sitting down.
- How many times the same song played.
- How many safety pins the outfit needed.
- How many regrets. It is always zero.
Questions
Can I share it with my whole group?
Yes. One page has one link, and it greets whoever opens it without naming them, so you can post it in the group or send it to each person.
Can I add my own song?
Yes. Choose one of the built-in tracks, or upload an MP3 or M4A of up to 5 MB. Only upload music you have the right to use.
Is it free?
Yes. Making and sharing a page costs nothing, and there are no ads on it.
Garba Night
Two dandiya sticks they clash with a tap. Then your night: a garba circle that keeps turning, your photos, the numbers that tell the story, your crew and a dhol to keep the beat on.
