Birthday

An online birthday card your best friend will keep opening

Group chats fill up with the same three emojis every birthday. Send your best friend something they will screenshot instead: a page with a cake, candles they blow out themselves, your worst photos together and a letter only you could write.

Free. No ads. They need no app and no account to open it.

Why a page beats an e-card

  • It is interactive. The candles go out when they blow on the phone’s microphone, or when they tap the cake.
  • It is yours. Every word, photo and colour is something you chose, not a stock design with a name pasted in.
  • It is private. Only people with the link can open it, and you can lock it with a PIN.
  • It does not hang around. The page is deleted 7 days after it opens, photos included.

Things to put on it

  • The photo they asked you never to post. This page is private, so it is finally safe.
  • A polaroid for every year you have known each other.
  • The story of how you met, told your way.
  • The joke nobody else understands.
  • The song from that one trip.

From the whole group

One person makes the page, and everyone sends them a photo and a line to add. Print the QR code and stick it on the cake box, or drop the link in the group at midnight.

Afterwards, your friend can turn the page into a short video, a reel with every animation in it, and post it as a status.

Questions

Is it free?

Yes. Making and sharing a page costs nothing, and there are no ads on any page.

How many photos can I add?

The Birthday Cake template holds one main photo and up to six polaroids.

What if they do not want to use the microphone?

Tapping the cake blows out the candles too. The microphone is only asked for if they choose to blow.

Birthday Cake

A 3D cake with candles they blow out through the microphone, a handwritten letter and a wall of polaroids.
